I thought I would bring home a nice bottle of wine to try, and maybe make it a bit of a trend, or a weekly tasting if you will. I am by all means an amateur at this.
This is a Spanish wine by the Miguel Torres vintner. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) and Tempranillo (15%). I had somewhat high expectations about this wine, but honestly, I wasn’t overly impressed. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted ok, but I did find it a bit bland. I wanted to get a more oaky and spicy taste, but it just wasn’t there.
Let’s see what the next bottle will bring to my palate.
Hasta la vista!
